Momentum Gaming didn’t start as a big plan. It started as a question.
After Bishal “imaQTbruh” Kr and I stepped away from a well-known esports organization, we found ourselves in a phase where we were just looking for what’s next. More opportunities, better projects, something that felt right. We had experience, we had ideas — but nothing concrete.
And then somewhere in between those conversations, Bishal said, “Why don’t we just start something of our own?” That one thought was enough.
There wasn’t a long roadmap, no perfect strategy deck, no guarantee that it would work. But what we did have was clarity — we knew what we liked, we knew what frustrated us about existing tournaments, and most importantly, we knew what kind of experience we wanted to build.
Building Something That Moves Forward
From day one, the idea behind Momentum Gaming was simple: Not just to run tournaments — but to build an ecosystem. An ecosystem where everyone involved grows together.
The players.
The viewers.
And even us, the people behind it.
Because esports, at its core, is not just about competition. It’s about progression. Every match, every tournament, every stream — it’s all part of a bigger journey. And we wanted to create a space where that journey actually feels meaningful.
More Than Just “Another Tournament”
If you’ve been around esports long enough, you know this — there are a lot of tournaments. But not all of them feel the same.
Some are awesome!
Some lack structure.
Some lack consistency.
Some just don’t feel worth the effort players put in.
We didn’t want to add to that noise. Momentum Gaming is built on the idea that tournaments should feel worth it — whether you’re playing, watching, or supporting.
That means:
- Better production
- Cleaner execution
- More thought behind every event
Not perfect — but always improving.
From Grassroots to Competitive
One thing we strongly believe in is accessibility. Esports shouldn’t feel locked. It shouldn’t be only for the top 1%.
That’s why a big part of what we’re building is focused on grassroots tournaments — giving opportunities to players who are just starting out, alongside those who are already competing at a higher level.
Because every pro was once a beginner and sometimes, all someone needs is the right platform.
Why This Matters to Us
For me personally, gaming has never just been a hobby. It’s been a constant. Over the years — whether it was creating content, working on productions, or being part of tournaments — one thing stayed consistent: the connection between creativity and competition.
Momentum Gaming sits exactly at that intersection. It’s where everything comes together. Not just what we’ve done before — but what we want to build going forward.
This Is Just the Beginning
Momentum Gaming is still growing. Still evolving. We’re experimenting, learning, improving with every event.
But the goal is clear:
- To build something that lasts.
- Something players trust.
- Something that actually adds value to the esports space.
This isn’t just about running tournaments. It’s about building momentum — for everyone involved.
